Job summary

The Home Depot Canada is seeking a Department Supervisor to guide and motivate associates, delivering exceptional customer service and strong merchandising knowledge to achieve top-line sales.

You will partner with store management and operations teams to ensure adequate staffing, develop associates, and drive performance through coaching and recognition, supporting personal and professional growth while meeting business goals.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years experience as a supervisor / leading teams.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings and weekends.
• Strong merchandising and product knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire associates to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve top-line sales with strong merchandising knowledge.
• Ensure department staffing levels meet business needs.
• Manage associate performance through development, communication, rewards and recognition, with ongoing feedback.
• Review sales reports and advise on inventory, overhead organization and cross-merchandising to drive sales.
• Maintain 100% in-stock and organized overhead plans.
• Investigate, resolve and escalate customer issues as appropriate.
• Communicate store sales, events and promotions through rallies and meetings.
• Ensure safety and asset protection standards are followed.
