Job summary

Infinity Testing Solutions Inc. is a Mississauga-based testing laboratory seeking two Test Technologists for a hands-on, fast-paced role in mechanical, structural, hydraulic, and environmental testing.

You will assist with setup, execution, and data documentation while ensuring safety and accuracy. The ideal candidate has an Engineering Technologist degree with at least 1 year of experience, strong mechanical aptitude, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Engineering Technologist Degree required with minimum 1 year experience.
• Hands-on mechanical aptitude and experience with tools, machinery or test setups.
• Experience reading drawings, schematics, procedures and instructions.
• Strong problem-solving ability and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Set up mechanical, structural, hydraulic, pressure, vibration and environmental test configurations.
• Prepare test samples, fixtures, and equipment for testing.
• Install components and connect hydraulic/pneumatic/electrical systems as needed.
• Operate lab equipment safely and efficiently; document observations.
• Read drawings and procedures to guide testing and data collection.
• Perform inspections before, during and after tests; maintain logs.
• Analyze results and document findings clearly for reports.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized lab/work environment.
• Support fixture builds, maintenance, and equipment calibration.
