Job summary

Affinity Group in Canada is seeking a Software Development Lead who blends hands-on coding with technical leadership and governance to deliver complex Dynamics 365/Power Platform solutions.

You will spend roughly half of your time coding in C#/.NET and building model-driven and canvas apps, with the remaining time directing delivery, coordinating with Platform, Security, Infra, Data and DevOps, and ensuring architectural standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Software Engineering or equivalent.
• 6+ years software engineering experience.
• 4+ years hands-on Dynamics 365/Power Platform incl. configuration, customization, development, integrations, and end-to-end implementation.
• Power Apps, Canvas Apps, Model-driven Apps, Power Automate, Dataverse, Power Fx, PCF.
• 5+ years of strong C#/.NET development experience.
• 3+ years as a Software Development Lead, Technical Lead, Senior Developer, Architect, or equivalent.
• Experience designing and reviewing enterprise application architectures.
• Experience coordinating with Platform, Security, Infrastructure, Data, DevOps, Architecture and other enterprise teams.
• Strong Microsoft Azure, REST/API and enterprise integration experience."

Responsibilities

• Hands-on development for ~50% of time with C#/.NET and Dynamics 365.
• Technical delivery leadership for ~25% of time.
• Architecture and technical governance oversight for Dynamics 365 and Microsoft platform.
• Mentoring developers and upholding engineering standards.
• Coordinate with Platform, Security, Infrastructure, Data, DevOps and other teams.
