Job summary

Compass Group Canada is hiring a dedicated Housekeeper to maintain clean and orderly spaces across our facilities in Canada. The role focuses on cleaning and disinfecting washrooms, corridors, lobbies, and common areas, while upholding health and safety guidelines.

The ideal candidate will have prior housekeeping experience (assets in healthcare, hotel, or commercial cleaning), strong time management and organizational skills, good English communication, and the physical ability to lift up to 20

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience is an asset.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Good command of English, verbal and written.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Physical ability to perform all aspects of the job, including lifting up to 20 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Clean and disinfect washrooms, vents, interior windows, walls, glass, doors and mirrors.
• Damp mop hard floors and auto scrub as needed.
• Check all primary areas, lobbies and stairwells and clean as required.
• Vacuum carpeted areas as needed.
• Remove all garbage from common areas.
• Maintain confidentiality of all resident and personnel information.
• Maintain a safe environment, using wet floor signs as needed.
• Perform duties according to health and safety guidelines.
• Report injuries and hazards to the supervisor.
• Respond to emergency cleanups as required.
