Job summary

Mark Motors Group’s Cornwall Centre Volkswagen is seeking an Apprentice Automotive Technician to join the service team and grow skills alongside licensed technicians. The role offers hands-on experience, exposure to diagnostics, and a supportive dealership environment.

The position includes a pay rate of $18–$23 per hour and a Monday–Friday schedule at 632 Pitt Street, Cornwall, Ontario. Immediate hire for an existing vacancy with excellent benefits after three months.

Qualifications

• Must maintain Technician Certificate and WHMIS certification.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Ozone Depletion Certificate is required.

Responsibilities

• Review work orders with supervisor or service advisor.
• Inspect engines, perform road tests, and use diagnostic tools to identify faults.
• Inspect and test major components to locate malfunctions.
• Adjust, repair, or replace components across major systems.
• Diagnose faults and confirm repairs with supervising technician.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and test systems after repair.
• Maintain required licenses and certifications.
