Job summary

EastPoint Engineering Limited in Halifax, NS seeks a Structural BIM Technician to deliver coordinated drawings and 3D models for infrastructure projects from design through construction. The position is on-site at 1801 Hollis Street, Halifax.

Reporting to the BIM Manager, you will collaborate with engineers, architects, and CAD technicians, apply standards, and help advance BIM workflows. A minimum of two years of relevant experience and strong Revit and AutoCAD skills are required.

Qualifications

• Two years or more of structural drafting, BIM, CAD experience.
• Proficiency with Revit and AutoCAD for drawings and models.
• Ability to follow company and client standards on site in Halifax.

Responsibilities

• Produce concept and detailed drawings and 3D models for infrastructure projects.
• Collaborate with project team to coordinate information and ensure consistent delivery.
• Apply company and client guidelines and drawing standards on every project.
• Coordinate design-team activities and support internal and external contributors.
• Advise project managers on BIM workflows and project-specific procedures.
