HACCP COORDINATOR - MOUNTAIN CREEK FARMS, CALGARY, AB

Join us for the HACCP COORDINATOR - MOUNTAIN CREEK FARMS, CALGARY, AB role at JBS.

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced HACCP Coordinator to join our team at Mountain Creek Farms in Calgary. This role involves working alongside our production team to monitor and ensure the highest quality of our products.

Responsibilities include:
  • Developing, implementing, and maintaining the HACCP system
  • Ensuring compliance with GFSI quality standards and other relevant standards
  • Monitoring standards across production, shipping, receiving, and packaging
  • Acting as the main contact for audits and regulatory communication
  • Creating documentation and records for compliance and audits
  • Training employees on standards and procedures
  • Collaborating with inspectors, operations, and QA teams on food safety issues
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3-5 years of HACCP experience in a fast-paced food environment
  • Post-secondary education in Food Science or related field
  • Knowledge of GMP, HACCP principles, and ISO 17025 standards (asset)
  • Strong decision-making, communication, and computer skills
