Job summary

COFOMO, a leading Canadian consulting firm, is seeking a Guidewire ClaimCenter Developer for its Quebec City office. The role requires expertise in Gosu and Guidewire ClaimCenter, plus a solid OO background with Java and Spring.

Knowledge of AWS, SQL, and CI/CD tooling is essential. You will participate in code reviews, Agile ceremonies, and collaborative development activities while maintaining production systems and contributing to performance and security improvements.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Gosu and Guidewire ClaimCenter required.
• Strong OO programming background (Java, Spring).
• Knowledge of AWS cloud environments and SQL.
• Experience with Git/GitHub and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Maven, Nexus).
• Familiarity with test automation tools (JUnit, Selenium, JMeter).

Responsibilities

• Develop and adapt solutions per requirements and best practices.
• Optimize performance, security, and reliability of applications.
• Ensure code quality in collaboration with senior developers.
• Provide production support and maintenance.
