- Our client is seeking a Guidewire Business Analyst to assist with Guidewire production backlog management as well as elaboration efforts associated with enhancements.
- An experienced Guidewire Business Analyst is required to assist in gathering, validating, and documenting business requirements to resolve production issues and enhance the platform.
- The Business Analyst will be expected to provide guidance and recommendations to Guidewire product teams based on Guidewire best practices and past experience to best address issue resolution.
- Candidates can perform services on-site or remote.
Job Requirements :
- Minimum 5 years of Business Analyst experience.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in gathering business requirements and resolving production issues and elaborating enhancements.
- Candidate must have business analysis experience with Guidewire; candidates without Guidewire experience will not be accepted. Expert-level experience with the Guidewire platform would be considered an asset.
- Knowledge and experience in Guidewire InsureCloud for Canada would be an asset.
- Experience in the Canadian insurance property and casualty industry would be an asset.
- Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Certification of Capability in Business Analysis (CCBA), or other industry-recognized designation / certification.
- Advanced knowledge of techniques in eliciting requirements, including business, technical, nonfunctional, security, and testing requirements.
- Advanced knowledge of various software development lifecycles and project delivery processes (e.g., agile, waterfall).
- Advanced skill in documenting epics, features, and user stories in JIRA.
- Advanced skill in validation processes (i.e., validating that testing of user stories meets the required acceptance criteria).
- Proficient knowledge of project management fundamentals.
- Proficient knowledge of core insurance concepts and principles.
