Job summary

Hampton Inn & Suites - Kelowna Airport is seeking a Guest Services Manager to lead day-to-day front desk operations and uphold a high standard of guest service. You will coach the team and ensure smooth flow of front office activities under the Director of Rooms and Assistant Front Office Manager.

The role requires coaching staff, driving the Hamptonality culture, and managing varied shifts while maintaining safety and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in guest services leadership or similar role.
• Valid BC Class 5 license.
• Ability to plan, prioritize and complete multiple projects.
• Consistently motivates staff to achieve goals.
• Ability to promote teamwork across departments and coach staff.

Responsibilities

• Assist management in training, evaluating, counseling, motivating and coaching employees; act as a role model.
• Uphold the Hamptonality culture; ensure staff follow it.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships; support team to reach goals; respond to staff concerns.
• Follow company policies; report accidents and unsafe conditions; complete safety training.
• Oversee the Breakfast area during hours of operation; maintain guest satisfaction.
• Understand inventory balance between shifts and sections.
• Be available to work varied shifts: days, evenings, weekends, holidays.
• Operate Hotel shuttle safely per regulations.
• Take on additional duties as assigned by management.
