Job summary

Coast Hotels Limited is seeking a Room Attendant to uphold the hotel’s cleanliness and hygiene standards across guest rooms and public areas, contributing to overall hotel success and guest satisfaction. You will work with the housekeeping team, review room assignments, ensure safety, complete room inspections, handle linens and supplies, and follow Coast Hotels procedures for cleaning and make-up.

A flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays is required to deliver consistent

Qualifications

• High school education preferred, but experience may be considered
• Physical ability to lift 40 pounds and stand/walk for long periods
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, reach and perform repetitive actions
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-tasking team environment
• Demonstrated superior customer service mindset
• Able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Review room assignment sheets with Housekeeping Supervisor at each shift start
• Maintain safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards
• Follow Coast Hotels procedures for cleaning and making up rooms
• Change linens in assigned guest rooms per policy
• Ensure all room amenities are in place and doors/windows are secured
• Conduct daily room inspections and submit maintenance work orders as needed
• Report discrepancies in room checks to Housekeeping
• Turn in lost and found items to Housekeeping Office
• Keep housekeeping cart stocked and supplies in good order
• Sort recyclables according to Coast Hotels guidelines
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Housekeeper
