Job summary

The Vancouver Aquarium, a mission-driven attraction in Vancouver, BC, seeks a part-time Food and Beverage Associate to deliver exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced cafe setting. You will process orders, prepare and deliver food and beverages, and help maintain cleanliness across cafes and adjacent areas.

Requirements include Serving It Right certification, a clear background check, and strong guest service and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Serving It Right certification is required.
• Clear background check is required.
• Previous guest service experience in QSR or café environments preferred.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional visitor experiences and act as a tour guide within the Aquarium.
• Confidently discuss food and beverage offerings and assist with dietary restrictions.
• Ensure all orders are fulfilled accurately and delivered promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of cafes and surrounding areas.
• Uphold safety and reporting of hazards to supervisors.
