Job summary

Vancouver Aquarium is seeking a Food and Beverage Associate to deliver outstanding guest experiences in a fast-paced cafe setting. As a tour-guide within the Aquarium, you will handle orders, prepare items, and ensure clean, well-stocked service areas while representing the venue with professionalism.

Responsibilities include assisting visitors with programs and events, discussing dietary options, and addressing feedback promptly.

Qualifications

• Serving It Right certification is required.
• Clear background check is required.
• Previous food services or guest service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create a positive, friendly and welcoming environment for every visitor and guest.
• Answer general visitor questions about programs, events, orientation and inquiries; act as a tour guide within the Aquarium.
• Confidently discuss all food and beverage offerings and dietary restrictions.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of cafes and surrounding areas.
