Job summary

Go International in Vancouver is seeking a friendly and efficient waitstaff member to take food and beverage orders and deliver items to dining room guests.

You will greet guests, ensure timely service, maintain sanitation standards, and assist with special events. Must have a valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent to apply.

Shifts are flexible: 6am-2pm and 11am-7:30pm, start as soon as possible, 37.5 hours per week, English required.

Qualifications

• Experience in the food services industry.
• Valid Food Handler Certificate or provincial equivalent.
• Exceptional communications skills and ability to get along well with others.
• Must be physically able to lift and transfer heavy, hot items, and stand/walk for the majority of shifts.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly in the dining room and take food and beverage orders following established steps of service.
• Deliver food promptly and professionally to dining room guests.
• Maintain safe food handling and sanitation standards.
• Follow up with guests to assist with any additional needs or requests.
• Demonstrate knowledge of menu items and ingredients.
