Job summary

Swiss Chalet is hiring a server at our Toronto-area location to deliver friendly, attentive hospitality and promote our menu. You will know the regular and promotional offerings, warmly greet Guests, and enhance the dining experience while ensuring proper alcohol service and strict food safety adherence.

Qualifications

• Provincial Responsible Alcohol Service certification is required.
• Bonus points for previous experience as a server.
• Excellent communication and social skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to contribute to a Perfect Guest Experience.
• Energetic and self-confident with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Be a “know-it-all” about our regular and promotional food and beverage menu by communicating and recommending offerings to Guests.
• Provide a welcoming smile and genuine hospitality.
• Get to know our Guests and enhance their personal experience, while flawlessly executing our steps of service.
• Provide responsible alcohol service to all Guests.
• Adhere to all safe food safety and handling procedures.
• Abide by Food Safety regulations and best practices.
