Job summary

Swiss Chalet in Belleville is seeking a friendly server to join our team. You will communicate recommendations from our menu, deliver warm hospitality, and ensure a memorable dining experience for guests, while following service steps and safety standards.

Ideal candidates have strong communication, the ability to work both independently and in a team, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. Flexible scheduling and growth opportunities are available.

• Experience as a server is a plus.

We are looking for individuals that are passionate about hospitality, food, training and are people focused. This candidate not only understands the fundamentals of daily restaurant operations but also is a proven leader with training in their DNA.

What You Will Do In This Role

• Be a "know-it-all" about our regular and promotional food and beverage menu by communicating and recommending offerings to Guests
• Provide a welcoming smile and genuine hospitality
• Get to know our Guests and enhance their personal experience, while flawlessly executing our steps of service
• Provide responsible alcohol service to all Guests
• Adhere to all safe food safety and handling procedures
• Abide by Food Safety regulations and best practices

What We Are Looking For

• Bonus points for previous experience as a server
• Provincial Responsible Alcohol Service certification is required
• Excellent communication and social skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to contribute to a Perfect Guest Experience
• Energetic and self-confident with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work a flexible schedule
