TABLE twelvefifty is seeking a personable Restaurant Host to join our team in Kamloops. You will be the first point of contact for guests, greeting them warmly and guiding them to seating.

Your role includes managing reservations, coordinating with the kitchen and waitstaff, and handling guest inquiries to ensure a seamless dining experience. This is a part-time position with flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a similar hospitality role is highly desirable.
• Excellent customer service with a friendly and professional demeanor.
• Serving it Right certification or willingness to obtain it.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills for managing reservations and guest information.
• Part-time position with flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, providing an exceptional first impression of the restaurant.
• Manage seating arrangements, ensuring guests are seated promptly and comfortably.
• Maintain an updated reservation system, balancing seating for walk-ins and reservations.
• Communicate with the kitchen staff to keep them informed of guest arrivals and readiness for service.
• Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues or complaints to ensure a positive dining experience.
• Coordinate with the waitstaff to ensure smooth service flow and guest satisfaction.
