Join the Squamish Canyon Guest Experience Team and help create memorable experiences for visitors at Squamish's newest eco-attraction. Opened in August 2025, Squamish Canyon features a 1.5 km boardwalk and canyon walkway through the coastal rainforest along Mamquam Canyon, offering guests a unique connection to nature.
As a Guest Experience Associate, you'll be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional service, sharing information, and helping ensure every visitor leaves with a positive experience. Team members are cross-trained and may also support the Café, Gift Shop, and Operations teams as needed.
Guest Experience
Welcome and assist guests with a friendly, professional attitude.
Answer questions and provide information about attractions, services, and policies.
Resolve guest concerns and escalates issues when needed.
Promote a positive and inclusive guest experience.
Act as a knowledgeable ambassador for Squamish Canyon.
Additional duties as needed
Process ticket sales and payments accurately.
Handle cash, reconcile tills, and maintain transaction records.
Maintain organized guest services documentation and tracking systems.
Keep ticketing and guest-facing areas clean, organized, and welcoming.
Collaborate with internal teams, tour operators, and external partners.
Support daily operational tasks and assist in other departments as required.
Friendly, outgoing, and passionate about customer service.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience with computers, cash handling, POS systems, and basic math.
Organized and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Reliable team player with strong problem-solving skills.
Previous experience in customer service, retail, admissions, or tourism is an asset.
Willingness to complete a Criminal Record Check.
Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
Outdoor, guest-facing role in varying weather conditions.
Requires standing and walking for extended periods.
May occasionally lift up to 20 lbs and use step stools or ladders.
