Job summary

MatchBox Consulting Group in Vancouver seeks a GTM Project Manager to own the full GTM lifecycle for a permanent role with a Canadian client. You will build detailed project plans, present executive status reports, surface risks, and ensure delivery of GTM assets and milestones.

Ideal candidates have 5–8 years in PM, PMP/CAPM, and experience in B2B SaaS or FinTech. You will collaborate with Product, Sales, and Success to drive pilot programs and scale launches.

Qualifications

  • 5–8 years of dedicated project management experience in B2B SaaS/FinTech.
  • PMP or CAPM certification strongly preferred; equivalent training considered.
  • Proven ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects from initiation to delivery.
  • Familiarity with Atlassian Suite and PM frameworks.
  • Experience delivering on time with milestone tracking and executive reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain detailed project plans: milestones, task owners, dependencies, and timelines
  • Prepare and present executive-level status reports and project summaries for internal and external stakeholders
  • Proactively surface risks and blockers — develop mitigation plans and drive resolution before they become issues
  • Maintain and continuously evolve the GTM framework, project tracker, and delivery standards
  • Ensure all GTM deliverables — assets, enablement materials, and cross-functional dependencies — are clearly scoped, assigned, and delivered on time
  • Champion documentation and process discipline across the GTM function
  • Drive alignment, remove blockers, and hold teams accountable to GTM commitments
  • Lead GTM planning and execution forums
  • Manage competing priorities across workstreams without losing momentum on any front
  • Structure and operationalize pilots with banks and customers: define scope, duration, success criteria, and exit conditions
  • Align Product, Sales and Success teams around pilot objectives and track performance throughout
  • Translate pilot outcomes — product validation, revenue potential, bank readiness — into clear go/no-go recommendations
  • Use pilot learnings to inform iteration, scaling decisions, and future launch approaches
  • Coordinate GTM execution across multiple bank partners simultaneously, ensuring each is technically validated, commercially enabled, and equipped with tailored assets
  • Understand the revenue implications of launch timing and partner readiness — flag commercial risks early
  • Work closely with Partner Managers and Partner Success to drive post-launch adoption and iteration

Requirements
  • 5–8 years of dedicated project management experience, ideally in B2B SaaS, FinTech, or a similarly complex, fast-moving environment
  • PMP or CAPM certification strongly preferred; candidates with equivalent structured PM training will be considered
  • Proven ability to manage complex, multi-phase, cross-functional projects from initiation through delivery
  • Strong command of project management methodologies, tools, and delivery frameworks (Atlassian Suite)
  • Track record of delivering on time with rigorous milestone tracking, risk management, and executive-level reporting
  • Working knowledge of the product development lifecycle — from discovery and definition through to launch
  • Experience launching products, features, or integrations in a B2B SaaS or FinTech context
  • Comfortable with pilot-driven product validation and iterative launch approaches
  • Ability to connect GTM execution to business outcomes — pipeline, revenue, and partner activation
  • Comfortable working alongside revenue forecasts, launch KPIs, and data-driven decision-making
  • Understands how sales, partnerships, and marketing levers interact to drive commercial results
  • Confident communicating with senior internal and external stakeholders, including bank executives and commercial leadership
