Job summary

Mature, privately held organization seeks a Controller to partner with ownership and leadership. You will transform financial data into meaningful insights and build scalable reporting and controls for future growth.

Initial hands‑on work includes validating data, improving processes and delivering high‑quality management information for pricing, cash flow, capacity and expansion decisions.

Qualifications

• Progressive accounting and finance leadership experience, ideally in controller or senior finance roles.
• CPA designation and strong knowledge of Canadian accounting, reporting and tax compliance.
• Experience in privately held, entrepreneurial or growth‑oriented organizations.
• Ability to build reporting, budgets, forecasts and financial analysis to support decisions.
• Strong understanding of margin analysis, working capital and pricing impact.

Responsibilities

• Lead timely monthly, quarterly and annual financial reporting with close and reconciliations.
• Develop management reporting, dashboards and analysis highlighting risk and opportunity.
• Translate variances and trends into actionable financial insight for leadership.
• Lead budgeting and rolling forecasts in partnership with owners and leaders.
• Oversee AR, AP, payroll, cash flow forecasting and working capital management.
