Job summary

BELFOR Canada Inc. is seeking a General Manager to drive branch performance, profitability, and operational excellence in Collingwood. You will lead multiple departments, manage budgets, and build strong client relationships to support growth and long-term success.

You will collaborate with HR, Safety, Marketing, Sales, and Finance while guiding project managers and mentoring a high-performing team in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 5+ years of senior leadership experience in construction, restoration, or insurance with a track record of managing operations.
• Extensive experience in financial management, budgeting, and performance analysis.
• Strong strategic thinking, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication to engage internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a vehicle per policy.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and optimize branch operations to meet strategic goals.
• Collaborate with HR, Health & Safety, Marketing, Sales, and Finance.
• Oversee budgets, audits, and financial reviews for profitability.
• Manage all projects and guide project managers on scope and cost estimation.
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team; conduct evaluations.
• Identify marketing strategies to drive revenue growth and market share.
• Maintain customer-focused relationships and resolve issues promptly.
• Perform additional duties to support branch success.
