Job summary

Summit Search Group seeks an entrepreneurial Chief Financial Officer for a growing industrial safety business. You will build and lead the finance function, modernize systems, and steer strategic decisions as the company scales. The role emphasizes governance, dashboards, and disciplined financial operations to support expansion.

Responsibilities include budgeting, cash flow, tax compliance, and M&A support, with collaboration across leadership and external partners to drive sustainable growth.

Qualifications

• CPA, CFA, or MBA in Finance/Accounting preferred.
• 5+ years in financial leadership, scaling companies.
• Deep knowledge of accrual accounting, reporting, and controls.
• Experience with ERP/accounting software and modeling tools.
• M&A and integration experience a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Drive financial transformation with scalable systems and reporting.
• Shape strategies to fuel growth and acquisitions.
• Partner with the CEO to deliver data-backed insights.
• Define and track KPIs to boost profitability.
• Lead month-end and year-end close with compliance.
• Build budgets, forecasts, and financial models.
• Lead cash flow forecasting and working capital optimization.
• Ensure compliance with tax, payroll, and audit standards.
• Manage due diligence and integration for acquisitions.
• Upgrade systems to automate financial workflows.
