Job summary

LutherCare Communities is seeking a Group Home Operations Manager in Saskatchewan to lead operations across multiple group homes. The role reports to the Director of Community Living and focuses on safe, efficient, and person-centered service delivery.

Responsibilities include team leadership, labour relations in a unionized setting, health and safety compliance, accreditation activities, and program/operational oversight.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of management experience.
• Experience managing a Group Home with individuals with physical and/or intellectual disabilities.
• Experience supervising front-line supervisors.
• Experience working in a unionized environment.
• Experience creating Behaviour Support Plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a cohesive team; oversee front-line supervisors.
• Oversee labour relations and maintain positive relations in a unionized setting.
• Ensure health and safety compliance across group homes.
• Maintain accreditation standards and coordinate audits.
• Oversee programming and day-to-day operations of group homes.

Our team members provide caring services to residents and clients throughout Saskatchewan in our Seniors Independent Living Communities, Intermediate Care Homes, Long-Term Care, Group Homes for individuals with physical and intellectual disabilities, Seniors Day Program, and Luther Seniors Centre.

The Position

Reporting to the Director of Community Living, the Group Home Operations Manager work together to ensure the safe, effective and efficient operation of the Group Homes. The Operations Manager is accountable for 5 main areas, among other tasks:

1. Team Management
2. Labour Relations
3. Health & Safety
4. Accreditation
5. Programming and Operations

Experience

• Minimum two years management experience
• Managing a Group Home with individuals with physical and/or intellectual disabilities
• Managing front-line supervisors
• Working in a unionized environment
• Creating Behaviour Support Plans
