About the Job:

  • Position:Grounds Operations Coordinator(Maternity Leave Coverage – Approximately 1 Year)
  • Location: Hamilton, ON.
  • Pay:$60,000.00 to $70,000.00 annual, depending on experience
  • Benefits after completing probation
  • RRSP program with company match

Job Duties:

  • Assist the Grounds Manager with the management and supervision of the daily operations of the department.
  • Ensure all month-end reports are completed accurately.
  • Maintain and manage all administrative documentation generated on projects.
  • Assist with the scheduling and utilize both labour and equipment crews efficiently.
  • Ability to fill in if a Grounds Superintendent is not available
  • In-depth understanding of the janitorial, lawn maintenance, and snow staff responsibilities.

Skills Required:

  • Strong knowledge of MS Office.
  • Leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects at the same time.
  • Problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick, smart decisions.
  • Strong knowledge of Landscape Maintenance, Janitorial, and Snow removal services.
  • Ability to liaise with, coordinate, and provide updates to supers.
  • Ability to effectively relate to new and existing clients.
  • Ability to grow and develop new and existing businesses by building rapport with clients.

This is amaternity leave coverage positionexpected to lastapproximately one year.
