Job summary

Nolinor Aviation is seeking a GSE mechanic to perform daily servicing and preventive maintenance on ground support equipment. You will inspect, service, repair, and modify equipment, diagnose issues, and uphold a preventive maintenance schedule across multiple bases.

The role requires DEP in automotive mechanics and 5 years of hands-on experience with pneumatic/hydraulic systems and diesel engines, plus strong English communication and Excel skills.

Qualifications

• DEP in automotive mechanics or similar field.
• 5 years of experience repairing pneumatic and hydraulic equipment and engines.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and maintenance manuals.
• Welding knowledge is an asset.
• English proficiency (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Inspect, service and repair ground service equipment (vehicles, buses, tow tractors, forklifts).
• Modify or adapt ground equipment as needed.
• Diagnose problems using manuals and test equipment.

Nolinor is looking for a GSE mechanic. The chosen candidate will be responsible for the daily servicing and preventive maintenance of all ground service equipment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, service and repair ground support equipment (e.g., utility vehicles, passenger buses, aircraft tow tractors, forklifts, etc.)
• Modify and/or adapt ground equipment
• Diagnose problems using applicable manuals and test equipment
• Plan and keep up-to-date a preventive maintenance schedule
• Keep the workspace clean and organized
• Perform any other related tasks

Requirements

• DEP in automotive mechanics, heavy equipment mechanics, agricultural equipment mechanics, or similar studies
• 5 years of relevant experience repairing pneumatic and hydraulic equipment as well as diesel and gasoline engines
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals
• Welding knowledge is an asset
• Be versatile
• Excellent manual dexterity
• Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written (to communicate with our different bases and understand documentation)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
• Ability to work in a team
