Job summary

The Aircraft Maintenance Inspector position at Nolinor Aviation ensures the compliance, quality, and safety of maintenance work on the fleet’s aircraft. Under the supervision of the Aircraft Maintenance Program Manager, this role plays a crucial part in maintaining high aviation safety standards and operational excellence.

The candidate will issue maintenance privileges, verify weight and balance records, supervise training, track defects, and coordinate with authorities to uphold regulatory

Qualifications

• College Studies Diploma (DEC) or Attestation of College Studies (AEC) in aircraft maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Issue AMO/AOC maintenance privileges and ensure delegated personnel hold licenses.
• Approve and maintain weight and balance records, certificates of airworthiness, and certificates of registration on board.
• Supervise maintenance personnel training, conduct in-process inspections, and ensure compliance with maintenance procedures.
• Track detected defect items, deferred inspections, and modification/repair work.
• Coordinate activities with suppliers and certification authorities, ensuring compliance with current standards and regulations.
• Conduct periodic reviews to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Job description

The Aircraft Maintenance Inspector is responsible for ensuring the compliance, quality, and safety of maintenance work performed on the fleet's aircraft. Under the supervision of the Aircraft Maintenance Program Manager, the Aircraft Maintenance Inspector at Nolinor plays an essential role in ensuring the quality and safety of aviation operations.

Responsibilities

• Issue AMO/AOC maintenance privileges and ensure that delegated persons hold the appropriate licenses;
• Approve and maintain weight and balance records, certificates of airworthiness, certificates of registration, and ensure they are on board;
• Supervise maintenance personnel training, conduct in-process inspections, and ensure compliance with maintenance procedures;
• Track detected defect items, deferred inspections, and modification/repair work;
• Coordinate activities with suppliers and certification authorities, ensuring compliance with current standards and regulations;
• Conduct periodic reviews to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Required Skills

• College Studies Diploma (DEC) or Attestation of College Studies (AEC) in aircraft maintenance;
• M2 license and a minimum of 10 years of experience in the field of aircraft maintenance;
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Pre-flight Mechanic Inspector in the aviation industry.

Requirements

• Excellent communication skills to interact with team members, certification authorities, and suppliers;
• Strong technical skills in aircraft maintenance, including understanding of applicable standards and regulations;
• Ability to perform thorough and accurate inspections with a high level of attention to detail;
• Aptitude to manage and maintain maintenance records in accordance with regulatory requirements;
• Knowledge of airworthiness management procedures and technical documentation;
• Ability to effectively solve problems and make informed decisions in complex situations;
• Commitment to safety and quality, with a thorough understanding of aviation safety management systems.
