Pembina Co-op in Souris, MB is hiring a full-time Grocery Manager to lead the grocery department, oversee daily operations, and drive sales, margins, and inventory in support of store goals.

Reporting to the Food Store Manager, you will coach the team, ensure service quality, and foster a collaborative culture while complying with Co-op values and deadlines.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 education is required.
• At least 3 years of customer service experience, with preference for 1 year of leadership experience.
• Honesty, trustworthiness, results-oriented attitude and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day grocery department operations and plan department direction.
• Achieve budgeted goals related to sales, margin, expenses, and inventory.

What you’ll do:

Reporting to the Food Store Manager, the Grocery Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of tasks and will be accountable for planning the direction of the grocery department. This position plays an integral role in assisting the Food Store Manager achieve budgeted goals related to sales, margin, expenses, and inventory and execute sales strategies that support Pembina Co-op’s vision. Achieving established objectives in terms of brand, service levels, quality, and timeliness of delivery as well as identifying areas for improvement. The Grocery Manager is responsible for training & development, coaching, and motivating the department team while fostering a positive work environment that enables the engagement of all team members in the pursuit of desired results.
