Grocery Clerk - Spruce View - Central Alberta Co-op

Job Description

Our Spruce View Food Store is looking for 4 Seasonal Grocery Clerks to join our team.

Term: until approximately August 31, 2024.

Availability requirements: Weekdays and weekends - mornings, afternoons, and evenings.

Responsibilities:

1. Unload grocery shipments.
2. Opening and closing duties.
3. Receive, stock, and face merchandise.
4. Greet customers and respond to customer questions.
5. Be alert for unauthorized removal of merchandise.
6. Ensure a clean and safe work environment.
7. Other duties as assigned by the manager.

Qualifications:

1. Excellent communication skills.
2. Attention to detail and quality.
3. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
4. Some heavy lifting is required (up to 50 lbs).
5. Must be over the age of 14 (Employment Standards requires a permit to employ a person age 14 or under; therefore, disclosure is required).
