Join our Team at Innisfail and Spruce View Liquor Stores!

An exciting opportunity awaits at our Central Alberta Co-op Innisfail and Spruce View Liquor Stores. Whether you're eager to re-enter the workforce, embarking on your career journey, or seeking supplementary retirement income, we have ideal hours to suit your needs. Our comprehensive on-the-job training makes this role an excellent fit for individuals looking to earn while gaining valuable knowledge about the liquor industry. This is a floater position based out of the Innisfail Liquor location and will involve working at our Spruce View Liquor location as required.

Position: Liquor Clerks (Floater Positions)

Casual: Less than 24 hours per week

Availability: Weekdays and weekends- mornings, afternoons, and evenings.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure all customers are greeted in a friendly manner
  • Offer product expertise and guidance
  • Process sales transactions accurately
  • Receive, unpack, and display merchandise
  • Perform opening and closing duties with thorough attention to detail
  • Ensure compliance with Central Alberta Co-op and AGLC’s policies
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the manager

Qualifications

  • Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to work in the Liquor Store environment
  • Must have valid ProServe certification
  • Outstanding customer service and communication skills
  • Previous retail experience is an asset
  • Team player with the ability to work independently
  • As this position will be providing assistance to other liquor locations, reliable transportation is an asset
  • Ability to consecutively lift 50 lbs. required for unloading pallets
