Job summary

CPM Holdings, Inc. is seeking an operator to keep a cell of grinders set up and in cycle. You will set up and run grinders, inspect materials, and perform basic maintenance while adhering to safety and quality standards.

The role requires high school education and 1–2 years related experience; familiarity with micrometers, calipers, GD&T, blueprint reading, and overhead crane operation is a plus. The position offers a stable environment with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• High School diploma and 1–2 years related experience.
• Understanding of precision manufacturing tools and proper use.
• Ability to read measurements to thousandths of an inch.
• Knowledge of GD&T and tolerancing; blueprint reading.
• Willingness to follow directions and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run grinders, including dressing the wheel.
• Inspect materials for conformance to standards.
• Perform minor equipment maintenance.
• Follow standards and procedures.
• Complete required paperwork.
• Maintain consumables and fixturing.
• Operate multiple machines simultaneously.
