Job summary

CPM Acquisition Corp. is seeking a skilled machinist to set up and operate a range of machining equipment, read blueprints, and ensure parts meet dimensional specs.

The role requires reading measuring tools, maintaining a safe, clean work environment, and collaborating with teammates to sustain productivity; experience with CNC is preferred. PPE and safety procedures are emphasized for all daily tasks.

Qualifications

• Experience in machining manufacturing.
• Knowledge of industrial machinery and operations.
• Understand CNC operations.
• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Use basic computer skills.
• Read precision measuring tools.
• Familiar with machine shop safety measures.
• CNC programming – Desired.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machining equipment (Lathe, Corrugation, VMC, Drill, etc.).
• Read and understand blueprints.
• Understand and read machining measuring devices.
• Inspect and dimensionally check machined parts.
• Physically move heavy product.
• Clean work area daily.
• Maintain good productivity rate.
