Your Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate a minimum of one production process performing single and/or multiple functions, which may include CNC or manually controlled equipment;
• Perform problem solving and troubleshoot to resolve production/process issues to meet required standards;
• Responsible for quality and quantity of work produced by process. Monitor production process according to maintenance schedule and perform routine maintenance in timely manner;
• Required to perform inspection of own work using precision measuring equipment as provided or directed to assess quality of work;
• Follow and accurately record data as directed or required in routers, IMS and any other production tracking systems;
• Required to train other operators as needed;
• May be required to work in other departments or occasionally to set up a machine for others to operate;
• Ability to read and interpret production prints;
• Requires adequate computer skills to access production procedures to perform the required work;
• Responsible for excellent housekeeping and maintaining 5S in all areas;
• Meet the skill requirements identified in the applicable training matrix and maintain certification through company Certified Operator Program.

Your Qualifications

• Education: Grade 12 diploma;
• Experience: Have demonstrated competency as Grinding Set Up Operator or equivalent machining background.
