Job summary

Quik's Farm Ltd. in Chilliwack, BC is hiring Nursery and Greenhouse Labourers for a seasonal role January to September 2027. You will work outdoors in a fast-paced environment, contributing to planting, harvesting, and crop maintenance.

Must be hardworking, self-motivated, and willing to work long hours. There may be Saturday and statutory holiday shifts; Sundays are not worked. This position requires on-site work at the farm location.

Qualifications

• No degree, certificate or diploma required.

Responsibilities

• Harvest flowers, fertilize, prune, and bunch; record crop data.
• Collaborate with production crews to fulfill daily orders.
• Plant crops in greenhouses and fields.
• Sticking and planting soil beds and trays indoors and outdoors.
• Maintain clean work areas and assist in packing and loading crops.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Quik's Farm Ltd. is a wholesale cut flower grower based in Chilliwack, BC, with over 20 acres of indoor and an additional 35 acres of seasonal outdoor growing space. Quik's Farm is geared towards the intense production of cut Chrysanthemums, Oriental Lilies, Alstroemeria, and other seasonal crops utilizing state-of-the-art growing systems and leading-edge technology to produce high-quality products for our diverse customer base throughout Western Canada and the Pacific Northwest USA. We are currently hiring Nursery and Greenhouse Labourers.

Primary Responsibilities

• Harvesting flowers crops, fertilizing, pruning, bunching in preparation, and recording crop data.
• Working alongside production crews to fulfill daily production orders.
• Planting crops in greenhouses and fields.
• Sticking and planting indoor and outdoor soil beds and trays.
• General ongoing crop maintenance including pinching and thinning.
• Unloading, loading, storing, and maintaining crops and bulk seasonal greenery.
• Maintaining clean work areas and grounds, as well as growing, producing, and packing areas.
• Performing other duties as assigned.
