Job summary

Home Instead in Surrey is seeking a Greek-speaking Care Professional to support seniors in their own homes, helping them stay safe, comfortable, and independent.

You will provide companionship, personal care, meal prep, light housekeeping, and help with daily activities, with weekend availability required. Training is provided, and CPR/First Aid are assets.

Qualifications

• Speak Greek fluently or conversationally.
• Be compassionate, patient, dependable and respectful.
• Have previous caregiving or personal care experience.
• Be legally eligible to work in Canada.
• Be able to provide a clear criminal record check.
• Have a valid Class 5 driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle.
• Carry business-use vehicle insurance.
• Be able to provide a clean driver’s abstract.
• Be available to work at least one weekend day each week.
• Maintain consistent availability during the first three months of employment.

Responsibilities

Greek-Speaking Care Professional - Surrey

Home Instead - Richmond, Surrey & North Delta

Applicants must be available to work at least one weekend day each week, either Saturday or Sunday.

Are you a compassionate and dependable caregiver who speaks Greek? Home Instead is looking for a caring Greek-speaking Care Professional to support seniors in Surrey and help them remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes.

This is a meaningful opportunity to build positive relationships with seniors while providing personalized, one-on-one care.

Responsibilities

Your responsibilities may include:

• Providing companionship and meaningful conversation
• Assisting with personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Preparing meals and assisting with light housekeeping
• Providing medication reminders
• Accompanying clients to appointments and errands
• Supporting clients with mobility and daily routines
• Providing specialized support for clients living with dementia or Alzheimer’s
• Documenting completed care and reporting any changes or concerns

CPR and First Aid certification are considered an asset.
