Graphics Assistant & Content Creator - Sports Law Blog
Courtside Counsel is an up-and-coming sports law blog that explores the intersection of sports and law in a lighthearted and fun atmosphere. We are all about creating engaging and enjoyable content that makes sports law accessible, exciting, and thought-provoking. As we relaunch, we’re looking for creative, passionate individuals who can help us bring this vision to life.
Positions Available :
- Graphics Assistant (Volunteer)
- Content Creator (Law Students and / or Lawyers Preferred)
1. Graphics Assistant (Volunteer)
Responsibilities :
- Design graphics for blog posts, social media, and promotional materials
- Develop and maintain visual branding templates for consistency across platforms
- Collaborate with the content team to brainstorm and execute visual ideas
- Stay updated on the latest design trends and apply them to our content
Qualifications :
- Proficiency with design tools (Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar)
- Strong creative vision and an understanding of visual storytelling
- Passion for sports and / or law is a plus
- Open to all applicants—an interest or experience in law is not required, but definitely a plus!
2. Legal Content Creator (Volunteer)
Responsibilities :
- Write insightful and engaging blog posts on sports law topics
- Strong research skills and the ability to understand complex legal topics
- Assist with writing captions for social media posts
- Collaborate with the team to generate content ideas and strategies
- Stay current on trends in sports law and provide analysis on relevant issues
Qualifications :
- Law students and / or lawyers preferred
- Excellent writing, research, and communication skills
- A passion for sports, law, or media
- Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
- Writing samples (blog posts, social media captions, or research articles) required
- No writing samples? No problem! If you don’t have a portfolio, feel free to submit a writing piece that demonstrates your ability to analyze and communicate ideas clearly.
