Job summary

The Princess Margaret Cancer Foundation (PMCF) is seeking an Associate, Fundraising Granting to support donor-funded projects from planning through delivery. You will coordinate with internal teams and external partners to ensure accurate reporting, compliance with donor restrictions, and effective project implementation.

You will build reports, stay ahead of grant milestones, and help measure the financial impact of donations while maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders and ensuring

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of fundraising and philanthropy experience.
  • Healthcare or higher education background is an asset.
  • Advanced MS Office, Excel and CRM proficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of funds, commitments and reporting to optimize granting and demonstrate donor impact.
  • Monitor grant projects with fund holders to ensure effective execution.
  • Develop progress reports and briefing materials for diverse stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with grant agreements and donor restrictions.
  • Propose workflow improvements and create project plans, SOPs, tools and templates.
  • Support system tools development to improve Granting operations.
  • Analyze funding allocation issues and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Produce analytics on KPIs to identify granting trends and success.
  • Measure and report the financial impact of donations to donors.
  • Identify risks and propose sustainable solutions with leadership input.
  • Collaborate with internal/external partners and maintain strong relationships.
  • Monitor sector trends and share insights for program improvement.
