Job summary

Columbia Grain International is seeking a Warehouse Operator in Winkler, MB. The role involves recording data on grain receiving, storage, and shipping, and collaborating with the team to meet operational goals while upholding quality and safety standards.

You will operate equipment, weigh grain, prepare scale tickets, and manage samples and storage information. Candidates should be capable of lifting up to 100 lbs and be prepared for industrial environments.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating instructions.

• Basic computer skills and mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Operate production equipment and control flow of grain.
• Weigh grain and record in computer system; print and sign scale tickets.
• Take samples and log storage location contents accurately.
• Maintain storage tanks, bins, and conveyance equipment.
• Operate forklift and assist with loading/unloading by truck or rail.
• Perform routine maintenance and keep area clean and safe.
