Job summary

Worley is seeking an early-career Technical Consultant, Water Scientist to support groundwater and surface water monitoring programs at a major oil sands operation in Fort McMurray, Alberta. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a related environmental field.
• Experience with environmental field monitoring or sampling is an asset.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Support groundwater and surface water sampling and monitoring programs.
• Document and manage field data with attention to detail.
• Follow guidance from field supervisors and specialists to perform monitoring activities safely.
• Assist in preparing technical reports, data summaries and client deliverables.
• Support field activity tracking, documentation and reporting requirements.
• Participate in health, safety and environmental programs and field safety practices.
• Monitor environmental and wildlife conditions and maintain safe field operations.
• Ensure compliance with client, regulatory and Worley safety and quality requirements.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support project delivery.
