Job summary

Worley is seeking a Technical Consultant, Water Scientist to support groundwater and surface water monitoring for a major oil sands operation based in Fort McMurray, Alberta. The role includes field sampling, data management, and reporting, with rotation schedules and fly-in/out logistics as needed.

You will work within a multidisciplinary team, gain hands-on field experience, and contribute to environmental compliance and sustainable project delivery in a global engineering and advisory company.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in science/engineering or related environmental discipline.
• Experience in environmental field monitoring or data collection is beneficial.
• Strong verbal and written communication with project teams.

Responsibilities

• Support groundwater and surface water sampling and monitoring.
• Document and manage field data with high attention to detail.
