Job summary

Labatt Breweries of Canada is launching a Graduate Management Trainee (GMT) program, a 10‑month rotational experience across Brewery, Sales and Logistics. The program includes onboarding in Toronto and global elements, with a pathway to placements in Frontline Sales or Supply Chain.

We seek graduates from 2025–2027 with a relevant degree who are mobile, eager to lead, and open to relocation within Canada. A competitive salary and living stipend support your development as you begin a leadership

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Sciences or related field.
  • Graduated from undergrad in last 2 years; 2025, 2026 or anticipated graduation no later than September 2027.
  • Must be mobile and open to relocation to experience different functions and locations across Canada.
  • No formal work experience is required; internship experience is a plus.
  • Eligible to work in Canada.
  • Bilingualism is an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in a 10‑month rotational GMT program across core business areas.
  • Rotate through Frontline Brewery, Sales and Logistics teams to gain on‑site experiences.
  • Engage in shadowing and strategic projects to prepare for your first placement.

$80,000 CAD + Living Stipend

About The Program
What do we offer?

The GMT program offers a 10-month rotational experience designed to immerse you in various facets, providing hands‑on experiences across our core business areas.

As you progress, you’ll rotate through our front‑line Brewery, Sales, and Logistics teams, gaining exposure to different operational sites, including, brewery locations, warehouse facilities, our Toronto headquarters, and other localized sites. Each rotation includes immersive job shadowing where you’ll learn about specific programs and processes, while working on strategic business projects to prepare you for your first placement.

Following the program, you will continue to build your Labatt journey with placement typically in a Frontline Sales or Supply Chain team, based on your interests and business needs.

Details of the GMT Program:
  • One-week Labatt onboarding held at our Toronto Headquarters, preparing you to be an owner of your career!
  • One-week Global onboarding, held in St. Louis MO, connecting you with other GMT’s from countries around the world.
  • Experiential learning opportunities, for example, the opportunity to become a Cicerone (certified beer expert) and 2-day immersive leadership development training.
  • Exposure to senior leadership, including Labatt’s President, through networking opportunities and project presentations.
  • Living stipend to support you throughout the program.
  • Participate in new graduate specific events and activities.
  • Access to exciting swag & on‑site pubs

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Sciences or a related field
  • Must have graduated from an undergraduate degree in the last 2 years; 2025, 2026 or anticipated graduation no later than September 2027.
  • Must be mobile and open to relocation to experience different functions and locations across Canada
  • No formal work experience is required. Previous internship experience is a plus.

Recruitment Process:

  • Virtual Interview with business leaders (September to October)
  • On-site Business Case & Interview Day in Toronto, ON – October 14th *
  • Final Panel with North American executives in St. Louis, MO – October 22nd *
  • Travel and accommodation for in person interviews will be provided by Labatt.
