Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field
• Minimum 3.0 GPA
• Experience with CAD software
• Strong interpersonal and team-work skills

Responsibilities

• Use AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Bentley MicroStation/PowerInRoads to design sites, roads, drainage, utilities and earthworks
• Use hydraulic modeling tools (InfoWorks, Hydraflow, PCSWMM, EPANET) to analyze stormwater, sanitary and potable water systems
• Research and apply codes, specifications and standards for design
• Coordinate with teams to deliver sustainable outcomes
• Apply understanding of planning, design and construction phases
• Research regulatory requirements for project approvals
• Engage with collaborators and clients to address needs
• Support development of technical documentation (reports, calculations, memos)

We deliver engineering forutility-scale solar plants, BESS, Wind Farma and high voltage substation. Detail power system study for substation, datacenter,BESSand solar plant.

The opportunity

• Use Autodesk (AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and Bentley (MicroStation, Power InRoads) software to design and detail sites, roads, drainage systems, utilities as well as site grading and earthworks
• Use Hydraulic modeling tools such as InfoWorks, Hydraflow, PCSWMM and EPANET to analyze and design stormwater, sanitary and potable water systems
• Research and apply codes, specifications and standards for design of the above elements
• Coordinate with other teams to apply skills in delivering sustainable outcomes
• Apply understanding of all phases of the planning, design and construction process
• Research requirements of regulatory environment for gaining approval at different stages of project delivery
• Engage with project collaborators and clients to develop designs thatmeetsneeds and concerns
• Support development of technical documentation including reports, presentations, memos, calculation packages, and specifications

Is this role right for you?

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in civil engineering, or relevant engineering degree
• Minimum 3.0 GPA or higher
• Sound knowledge of civil engineering fundamentals
• Experience with CAD software
• Good interpersonal skillsneededfor team-based working
• Ability to perform in a deadline driven environment
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary environment
• Excellent planning and organization skills required for our fast-paced environment
• Must be highly motivated, proactive and willing to address new challenges

Toronto, Ottawa and Calgary Hiring Range – Hiring Range- The good faith base salary hiring range for this job if performedin Ottawa is $72,250 to $74,250 per year. This range iscommensuratewith experience, educational background, and skill level. Benefits are not included in the base salary. Please note hiring ranges for candidates performing work outside of these regions will differ.
