Job summary

Arup seeks a Civil Engineer for Calgary entry-level design work. You will use AutoCAD/Civil 3D and Bentley tools to design sites, roads, drainage, and utilities, and run hydraulic models for water systems. You will research codes and coordinate with teams to achieve sustainable outcomes.

You will engage in planning, design and construction phases while building documentation and client-facing materials. Calgary-based role with growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 3.0 GPA or higher.
• Sound knowledge of civil engineering fundamentals.
• Experience with CAD software required.

Responsibilities

• Design and detail sites, roads, drainage, utilities, and earthworks using Autodesk and Bentley tools.
• Apply hydraulic modeling to stormwater, sanitary, and potable water systems.
• Research codes, specs and standards for design work.
• Coordinate with teams to deliver sustainable outcomes.
• Support planning, design and construction phases of projects.
