Job summary

Qualifications

• Complete a Civil Design or Engineering Design and Drafting Technology diploma or possess equivalent civil drafting experience.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D and related civil design software.
• Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence and reliable transportation.
• Effective communication and ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare civil design and drafting packages for roads, grading, underground utilities, and stormwater systems.
• Develop and revise CAD models and drawings based on project requirements and feedback.
• Coordinate survey data processing and integrate design information into project deliverables.
• Perform material take-offs and assist with bill of materials preparation.
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure design accuracy and compliance with standards.
• Conduct site visits and field inspections as required to support project execution.
