The successful candidate will perform a variety of tasks including grading, ditching, excavation, material loading and stockpiling, snow removal, and road maintenance. The role will also operate and monitor a screening plant used to produce winter sand, ensuring materials are processed safely and efficiently.
This is a versatile, hands-on position that requires strong equipment operating skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and productive work environment. The successful candidate will work closely with supervision and other site personnel to complete daily operational priorities while maintaining equipment and work areas to a high standard.
You are an experienced and versatile heavy equipment operator who takes pride in operating equipment safely, efficiently, and with precision. You have experience operating graders, excavators, and wheel loaders and are comfortable adapting to a variety of tasks and changing site conditions.
You understand the importance of completing thorough pre-operational inspections, identifying equipment concerns, and maintaining your equipment in good working condition. You are safety-minded, aware of your surroundings, and understand the importance of maintaining clear communication when working around other people and mobile equipment.
Shift / Hours of Work: 12-hours
Schedule / Rotation: 7 days on, 7 days off
