Kyah Wiget Education Society is seeking a dynamic teacher to deliver Grades 8–12 Science, Mathematics, and Outdoor Education at Skyzeh Habi Yikh. This full-time position runs August/September 2026 to June 2027, with a wage of $61,643–$113,466 depending on experience and education, on the KWES teacher grid.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or higher in a teaching-related field.
Member in good standing with the Teacher Regulation Branch.
Valid BC Teaching Certificate and BC Driver's License (Class 5).

Responsibilities

Deliver engaging instruction in Science and Mathematics for Grades 8–12.
Develop hands-on, land-based learning and outdoor programming.
Plan and facilitate outdoor and community-based experiences.
Maintain student records, assessments and attendance.
Collaborate with staff and integrate Indigenous community values.
