Autismservices seeks a passionate Grade 6 Teacher for the Kopahawakenum Community School on the Flying Dust First Nation. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons, support diverse learning needs, and contribute to a vibrant school community.

Kopahawakenum Community School on the Flying Dust First Nation is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Grade 6 Teacher to join our vibrant school community. Key Responsibilities
  • Plan and deliver engaging, standards‑based lessons across core subject areas (e.g., Math, Language Arts, Science, Social Studies).
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
  • Create a positive, structured, and respectful classroom climate that promotes student growth and well‑being.
  • Use formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress and inform instruction.
  • Communicate regularly with parents/guardians regarding student performance and development.
  • Collaborate with grade‑level and specialist teachers to support school‑wide initiatives and student success.
  • Participate in professional development and contribute to the school community beyond the classroom.
Qualifications
