Qualifications

• Must hold a Bachelor of Education and a Teacher Professional A Certificate.
• Experience with First Nation education institutions and programs is preferred.
• Knowledge of First Nation education issues, challenges and delivery models.
• Ability to use various computer software systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, evaluate, and report on Chief Moosomin School education programs.
• Develop and monitor program workplans, objectives and outcomes.
• Embed local First Nation culture into teaching practice.
• Implement new methodologies and strategies to provide an inclusive classroom.
