Robert Service School in Dawson City, Yukon, invites applications for a Grade 2 Teacher. The position is full-time (FTE 1.0) with an August start and a June end date, aligned to the school calendar and community needs.
The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor of Education, have recent primary classroom experience, and demonstrate knowledge of current literacy and numeracy practices, inclusive planning, and collaboration with First Nations communities.

Robert Service School is a vibrant K-12 learning community of approximately 190 students located in the heart of Dawson City on Tr’ondëk Hwëch’in Territory. Our school is supported by a dedicated and diverse team of educators and staff, working in partnership with the RSS/TH Administrative Team, families, and the broader community.
Through Section 17.7 of the Tr’ondëk Hwëch’in Self-Government Agreement, Tr’ondëk Hwëch’in and the Government of Yukon share responsibility for lifelong learning on Tr’ondëk Hwëch’in Traditional Territory. Together, we co-govern the administration, design, and delivery of education, creating an integrated learning environment grounded in Dënezhu and local ways of knowing, being, and doing.
