Job summary

Viasat is seeking a Canada-based Government account leader in Ottawa to manage key Canadian Government customer accounts, including contract renewals and growth initiatives. You will collaborate with SSC, government end users, industry partners and internal teams to position Viasat’s portfolio and ensure delivery through the full customer lifecycle.

You will lead account and engagement planning, develop opportunity strategies, and sustain strategic relationships with government customers and SSC

Qualifications

• Five years in the last ten delivering telecom services to government organisations.
• Three years in delivery, sales or support of multi-band satellite communications to government or enterprise customers.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in business, engineering, or related field.
• Fully bilingual in English and French (oral, written, reading).
• Eligible for SSC approval as the Contract Account Representative.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Canadian Government client accounts, including renewals and growth.
• Engage with SSC, Government end users, partners, suppliers and internal teams to position Viasat offerings.
• Lead account plans, engagement plans, and opportunity strategies.
• Maintain long-term strategic relationships with Canadian Government customers and SSC groups.
• Coordinate with Commercial Growth, Contract Management, Operations and Customer Solutions to meet contractual commitments.
