Job summary

Walmart in St. John’s, NL is seeking a General Merchandise and Fashion Associate to help lead department processes and partner with the General Merchandise and Fashion Assistant Manager to deliver excellent customer service and ensure tasks are completed.

You will greet customers, promote products, assist with shelving and displays, support scheduling, coach teammates, and help maintain a safe, clean store environment. The minimum hourly rate starts at $19.60.

Responsibilities

• Providing excellent Customer Service by greeting customers, promoting products/services, locating merchandise and assisting with purchase decisions.
• Assists in directing and coordinating tasks as per priorities from store management.
• Evaluates department presentation and merchandising, and updates displays as needed.
• Delegate and follow up on daily Customer Availability Process tasks.
• Support with scheduling as needed.
• Assigns associates to support coverage and availability tasks across store areas.
• Participates in training and development of associates and provides feedback.
• Contributes to a safe, clean work environment following company policy and safety logs.
